What it means is, for example, if you get an email with a font that you don't have, it will try and download it from the MSFT site automatically. Being internet all the time makes it quite seemless. I get a file (AVI for example) that needs a protocol I don't already have installed, and it just downloads it and installs it in the background. State of the art!
