That last minute may be the June 16. Ahead of CPI. But there is a difference between taking a defensive stance (50%+ cash). Take a lot of profits in rallies, etc.... compared with betting heavily on a crash.

If the source of worry is interest rates and inflation, then tech companies should do OK. They are society's main defense against inflation and labor shortage. The market has come around to this (correct) view lately. Banks, consumer, real estate may suffer from perceived (or real) inflation. But tech companies will benefit. It is deflation that hurts tech.

Another blasphemy. If it weren't for their bloated valuations, internet companies should do well in a tight labor market also. because of their labor saving efficiency. But I think at this time, even with the big drops, most internet stocks are still overvalued for me. Though it probably a little late for shorting.
