I agree Fred, it will be a surprise if it is NIMH, but I just remembered something from my conversation with the ERC guy. He said that they tested the NIMH battery from Ovonic and it did not pass all of their tests so they began running tests on nickel zinc which have so far passed all the tests. What tests would NIMH have failed, and why buy a license and then begin testing the battery. I even asked him "I thought they were not succesful in making a NIMH battery" and he responded "no, they just did not pass all their tests". I guess a possible explanation is that he was a marketing guy who had just come over from Saft.
