Before I launch into an answer, please remember I was invited onto this thread by one of your compatriots (not Pat). I am not hear to say which stock is better (TERN or CMTO) . . . only to disseminate information.

*CMTO has its own solution already avaialble.*

The CMTO solution is not superior to the S-CDMA transmission method (pioneered by TERN). Again, S-CDMA cuts the costs associated with potentially costly cable system upgrades due to the TERN modem only needing a marginal cable to perform its job. Modems and headends are a miniscule cost when compared with an entire system upgrade.

*I submit there's more than a little hype surrounding TERN's superiority regarding noise interference.*

Technological naysayers (ERICY and the like) said CDMA could never work. Funny isn't it that ERICY just purchased the CDMA infrastructure division from QCOM? In short, what folks are saying about TERN's technological "advantages", or disadvantages for that matter, just occurred with QCOM. History is repeating itself.

From what I see, there is no more hype in the TERN circles than is warranted.
