600 million wireless phones by 2002
Wall Street Digest Editor Donald Rowe expects the upcoming
decade to be phenomenally profitable for the right Internet
stocks - technology companies involved in enabling cable and
digital wireless Internet access. He cites numerous facts
and growth projections that support his prediction
including:

-Cable is 20X faster than modem access
-600 million wireless phones by 2002
-325 million US Internet users by 2000
-25 countries each with 10% of their population online
-Nearly the entire population of Asia's will have wireless/
satellite access by 2002
-Business productivity will increase and costs will decrease

Given these trends, Rowe says the best place for your money
right now is in currently profitable companies providing
digital fiber optic cable and wireless access to the
Internet. He's extremely bullish on the long-term prospects
of 12 companies that will lead the way in building out the
web with high speed digital access. These include such
heavyweights as Broadcom Corp., with Q1 earnings up 111% and
Qualcomm Inc., whose Q1 earnings increased an astronomical
228%.
