<Poor Paul, since the tutu truth came out he gets no respect!> Like all great truths, the tutu truth confronts peoples' rigid belief systems, and since the ego is but an identification with one's own belief system- a case of mistaken identity, if you will- the appearance of Paul in a tutu and mirabeau bunny slippers challenges one's sense of identity.
