True, they are not exact parallels, only similar.

This is a little different from what you said in the post I responded to. There you said: "we can see clearly that the Yugoslav-Kosovar problem is identical to the Israeli-Palestinian problem."

Since you couldn't explain why you took opposite sides of two conflicts that you described as identical, you decided they weren't really identical after all, just similar. But the same question applies if they are similar. If the conflicts are similar, why do you position yourself on different sides of the two similar conflicts? Say, it couldn't simply be bigotry, could it?
