Iridiam, is a totally different story. That was one expensive science project with absolutely no market. Who in the hell did they expect to buy the service when it cost so much. That was a moronic business plan, imo, with no extra benefit to 99.9% of the American or Worldwide consumer. Cd Radio on the other hand is affordable to every joe six pack..... you will get selections that are not available on Am/Fm and it will all be seamless..... something that AM/Fm is not. digital wireless coverage is a joke and you know it. Look at their coverage maps and look at their projected coverage maps. It sucks. They can switch to analog for phone service but that will not help them with digital. People don't want swiss cheese service areas and they won't pay 50 bucks a month for 56k access either. Digital wireless will not be any competition for radio in the car.
