Cirruslvr - Does anybody besides myself feel disturbed by AMD? As example, the latest Micro Center catalog features the latest Intel processors in PCs made by Compaq, Hewlett Packard and eMachines, but there is no K6-III PC to be found! I find this startling in view of the fact that the K6-III has been in production since middle February - right?
My local COMPUSA store is exactly the same - Pentium 2,3's and Celrons galore - and K6-2's as well - but nary a single K6-III!
What gives?
My concern for AMD is how they can launch a new complex K7 when the prior K6-III launch appears to be a dismal failure.
Let me also add that AMD's common stock price is rapidly going nowhere - are we all in for another "surprise" from our illustrious management?
