No, I'm assuming that users will have to watch advertising one way or another.
If I'm going to have to watch advertising, then I'd rather watch it for products I might care about.

BTW: The Replay device has a skip ahead feature, not a skip advertising feature. Press it and you skip ahead 30 seconds.
IMO: Advertisers will now have longer commercials...

Did the technology come first? I assert that the targeted advertising feature for Tivo was the driving force in the business model before any techical person touched a soldering iron.
