On the latter I would add that even if rudedog is correct in his assessment of CPQ's technology and "leadership", the company has a, ah, problem because its business plan has been from the pre-cambrian era. If you want to see one possible future, take a look at what has happened to the dominant retailers over the past 20 years. Many simply don't exist. WHy? Because their business plans were made obsolete by a changing retail environment. M2
