Reginald,

Re:" Does anybody besides myself feel disturbed by AMD? "

I think are MAJOR concerns in addition to what you have posted:

1. Price declines - The majority of AMDs parts are still K6.
The price in volumes will be less than the $78 last quarter.
So even with 6M units sold - we are likely to have a huge loss!!!

2. Stock price - Although this quarters numbers will likely be awfull the stock price should reflect the future. And it has been stuck in the $16-20 range. Clearly the big boys have no confidence - and who can blame them.

3. Lack of K6-3's. Yes it is very worrying. In addition folks like GTW are not even offering the K6III. Suggests one to wonder if they can even yield them.

4. 0.18 micron status - Intel has started production - where is AMD.
Some 0.18 parts should have dribbled out by end of this quarter.

5. Dresden and Cu - folks who are knowledgeable on process are amazed that AMD will try to bring up 2 0.18 processess. With their poor history of execution - folks are likely to wait to buy after real parts ship in volume and not just on the hype.

6. AMD lack of communication - AMD sucks in terms of getting the news out - good or bad. The financial community has been left hanging too long too many times to upgrade unless the evidence is overwhelming.

7........

I could go on.......

Regards,

Kash
