Heres a good read regarding mining to the internet:

The Financial Post reports in its Thursday edition that junior explorers are mining
the Internet for new-age riches. Reporter John Schreiner notes that last year,
broker-turned-businessman Ford Nicholson was selling the story of a company
called Sepik Gold, which was drilling a property in Papua New Guinea. This year
he is promoting a company called eBop, which is developing a retail Web site
aimed at British teenagers. He has hitched his wagon to one of the strongest trends
sweeping through the junior mining community. The new well where the money is
kept is "dot com" and mining promoters are embracing Internet concepts with a
vengeance. Newsletter writer Brian Fagan says that for the foreseeable future, the
majority of stocks that go from $1 to $5 will be technology stocks. Since the
beginning of the year, Mr. Fagan has tracked about 130 junior exploration stocks
that are changing direction. At least a third are heading in the direction of the
Internet. Some examples are Montello Resources, Orinoco Gold,
Globalstore.com, LatinGold, Senator Minerals and Sikaman Gold Resources.
