I don't think anyone would ever suggest that in-camera editing (something invented, by the way, with the CamCutter) would routinely take the place of studio-based editing workstations. The CamCutter vision is to speed the distribution of breaking stories and to cut the workload back at the studio by weeding out the junk in the field before it gets back to the studio.
