OT I was "tongue-in-cheek" when I said that, but at least it's usually only at the international level that the soccer crowds gets really rowdy, not at a game for ten year olds. I was thinking of doing some soccer refereeing here, but decided not to. You know why? The parents! The kids just want to play and have fun, but the parents want their kids' team to win at all costs. It's pretty sad. I've even seen parents yelling abuse at their own kid when they don't play as well as the parent expects them to and the poor kids are doing the best they can. Oh well, I'll get off my soap box.
