Yes, in very large cities something like that will work because they have the scale. However, it will not be competition.

For one, it will not be seamless. Which means, at best, it would be absolutely annoying for anyone that commutes to work. It will be more expensive and it will not come oem which is a huge incentive to purchase the S-band radios.

It's nice, but without the coverage,convience and low price, it's just an expensive toy for people that reside in large cities.

Thank you for explaining yourself though. I just don't think they will be competing for the same market. They will have a market, just not the same one.
