Stuart - are you kidding?

Just to clarify, he did not "include" some of my posts in his "messages". He adeptly butchered my posts into complete and utter falsehoods that were nowhere near what my posts originally stated.

These were not, as you assert, "risky but potentially profitable stocks". They were outright frauds. The only reason their prices went up was your son's manipulation.

That indeed is fraud, which is certainly criminal, you can be sure about that.

Interestingly, his latest scam was HTNZ, a stock which you state you bought 20000 shares of at 3c. Did YOU make a profit too?

You're right that people should never have listened to him, and they deserved to lose, but the fact that "he didn't get rich" is totally inconsequential. A crime is a crime is a crime. Nobody gives a damn if Bank Robbers get rich or if rapists "get off".

Your son further showed total contempt for those he stole from, retorting on one board that only stupid idiots would buy a stock at 400% one-day gains, yet he was still spamming that stock as a sound investment under fraudulent pretenses all across the internet.

He was able to make literally hundreds of posts per hour for a few days straight under as many as 2 dozen ids. That's just what I know of. God knows what else.

You almost seem to be saying that this was done in the youthful exuberance of getting "carried away". Uh-uh. It took a lot of effort and knowledge to do what he did on all the boards that he did it. You won't convince me there was anything innocent about it.

Stop trying to soft-pedal this with some buyer beware crap, and just thank God that I was not one of the ones he ripped off, or you'd need more than God's help to deal with the consequences.

I appreciated your explanation and take it in good faith, but save the excuses for the judge and for the people that got scammed.
