Tomato....you are the expert....is this thing getting as ripe as I think? There's nothing but good news here! Now we have a public statement that confirms much of the DD we have seen shared here and on the SI board. This release shows the intent of the company to keep shareholders informed about this wonderful new endeavor. I note the lack of hypish language often associated with companies who are putting up the party decorations before the invitations have even gone out!
Examples:
"Furthermore, it is anticipated that this month will also see the selective start-up of
some of these process components as plant commissioning begins. "

Great news here! We've heard that they have mica on the ground ready for processing. This sounds like we will have product coming off the line very soon. Concise language.

"The plant has an initial estimated annual capacity of 22 million pounds of mica product and can potentially be
easily expanded at a minimal incremental capital cost due to the modular nature of the plant and processing
design."

22 million "initial". Confirms 11,000 ton capacity which is a bit up from initial rumors of 10,000 tons. Rumored modular component structure now confirmed in writing.

"The rapid development from due diligence and exploration to production and operation could see the company
benefit from its investment by as early as the second half of 1999. AZCO is pleased that within such a short
time frame it is on the threshold of having its first operating mine and processing plant."

The usual deal in mining appears to be spend a lotta money and wait 5 years for payback. Here they are looking at benefits from investment in the same calendar year! Impressive and very forthcoming on their part.

I spoke to Doug Ramsahw about the PR this afternoon. I congratulated him on the job they did. He told me that they have 1800 people on their Email service for PRs and company info who got this PR. If you have not signed up, go to www.azco.com and do so. In addition, they send out a broadcast fax to about 2000 more investors, brokers, etc. Plus, their Quarterly Managment Letter goes to 12,000 plus recipients. The next one goes out in July. Thats a lotta folks getting this progress report in writing.

I feel we can expect further info as sales begin. Azco will likely provide general revenue information as things progress. Samples are being sent. 1 ton type samples are provided as needed he told me. These appear to be power users who have a stong interest in AZCO mica. They logically have to test it out before committing. More work on sales, contracts, etc. has been done than meets the eye in my opinion. No confirmation of this, but my sales experience tells me that they are quietly ultra-confident in where the year is headed. I am thrilled that they saw the need to communicate this to us.

I impressed on Doug my feeling that a partnership feeling can develop with a shareholder base if both sides do their part. Azco seems willing to carry their part of the deal. More Later....
