TORONTO (Dow Jones)--Dundee Bancorp Inc. (DBC.A) said it has acquired an additional 2 million common shares of Breakwater Resources Ltd bringing its total stake to 26,893,651 Breakwater shares, or about 33% of those outstanding.
In a news release, Dundee said it acquired the shares as part of an offering by Breakwater of 12,309,091 common shares, for investment purposes.
Dundee Bancorp is an investment-management company.
Breakwater is a mining company.
