Now, how about a little discussion of the market? Earlier this week I suggested shorting few semi equip, believing that the SOX will once more hit a wall at the 430 area, guess what, the sox went through on a day in which the rest of the market was quite weak. Few of the rec's have been stopped out (NVLS for one). I myself have now a "buy" on few of the semis equip due to the removal of the delays in the 300 mm program. Some I like include CYMI BUY in the $20 to $22 range, SL at 18.375 (you may want to wait for a retrenchment to $20.5 or so, but run the risk that it will get away), first target is $26 second target just under $30.
I also like INTC since it finally broke $55, and could be bought in the $53.5 to $55 area, SL should be at $50.5.
A sleeper which is almost a "value play" in the segment is MASK, but it should be bought on a breakout above $14.
Another sleeper (courtesy of Ian) is MTSN either buy on a retrenchment to $8.5 to $8.75 or a breakout above 10.125.
And last, another value play that could once again mature to "growth" is KLIC which can be bought around $25.
