Tim,The significant information for investors is the fact that there is possibly an investigation ongoing, not that Camelot says they do not know about it! Do you think they would actually say "Oh yes we had so many complaints due to shipping a defective product, that the FTC really should investigate us". They will be denying any problems all the way to jail!

Ther a several other articles by a like number of different authors tha have quotes by several different people who say they have actually been contacted by the SEC in regards to an investigation of Camelot. If you hear something once from one person, it may be considered just a rumor, when you hear the exact same thing from several disinterested parties, you tend to feel this just might be factual!

The real question here is, is this worth the risk?

To blame the problems soley on Win95 is ridiculous. Penetration of Win95 when they released Digiphone ( and since as a percentage of total users) is insignificant. The product just did not work.....PERIOD.

I also find it unconscieable that someone could actually assert that it was OK to ship junk, if you just wait 8 months and ship something that supposedly works. The only reason I can see that Barrows even printed this pathetic attempt at logic from Dona Corson is to show the twisted thinking going on here!

I am not able to follow your logic. If this was Microsoft and they were having a few problems, I might think OK stick with them. Camelot on the other hand is a shaky company, and when you add this sort of negative development, it would seem to me to indicate that it is just NOT worth the risk!
