Gator - I don't know if I quite said that. This industry can be quite bloodthirsty and the warning from QNTM should not be taken lightly. It could be something specific to QNTM (because of SEG's U-4 drive)or the continuation of a disk drive price war. I would love to hear the opinion of Stitch and others before buying or adding to a position in any HDD maker. SEG and VRTS will create a nice big splash on the quarterly numbers - but that doesn't mean anything in this industry. Big Wall Street investors will get spooked if they think this industry is continuing its "business as usual" competitive nature. As always on this or any other investment forum make your own investment decision after a lot of Due Diligence. You will see who knows what they are talking about on SI after a while and there are some and then there are others - Ask Gottfried who I'm talking about...
