To Young and All. Great Big News from MacWeek!!!

Apple network computer and low end computer PIPPIN with zip showed in Los Angeles. It also mentioned Iomega's growth from 900 employees last year to 2000 this spring. What a great market for Iomega. First is Acer, then Apple's Pippin.

IMHO, two important things are worth mentioning. First of all, the market is huge. The biggies are Oracle, SunMicrosystem, IBM, Apple and etc. I think all will follow Acer and Apple.

Second, as far as I know, Pippen originally comes with 66MHz PowerPC 603, 6 Mbytes of RAM, a modem and a quadruple-speed CD-ROM. Now guess what, the CD-ROM is replaced by the Zip drive. Therefore, in this case, the zip beats the CD-ROM.

IOMG will fly again.
