Qcharts offers this measure in a streaming list and other unique measurements. Of course those stocks that trade fast end of in the top 100 list of trades each day too. Traders often get tied up to "name" stock with their muti-million shares traded and their 240 block trades and miss out on real liquidity - Quick turnover of float. a stock with 200 million shares that trades 5 million in a day on avg has 2.5% a day turnover. But a stock with 6 million shares on float and trades 1 million shares is 16%. To me, that is real volume. Tie that to faster trading, you have stocks on way up or down - the movers.

BTW I just read what I wrote: it should be the top 100 stocks with the highest number of trades per minute. Qcharts checks this every 30 seconds.
