Thanks for the clarification. I tend to look at things as they are on paper but you may be right about the surprise for Ross. (Which formula does Ross make anyway?)

Here is the actual email message I received from the Martek rep. I think if everyone checks out sales and tall to drug store reps in their regions we can get an idea whether this PR thing is doing any good.

The message:

Thank you for your e-mail regarding Formulaid. Mead Johnson does have a license agreement with us to use Formulaid, but at this time we have no indication of when or if they will opt to include it in formulas. If they decide to include it, they would then seek FDA approval to use it as a supplement. We would not be involved in the FDA approval process because we are not marketing the product directly to the public. It should be noted however, that Formulaid has been successfully used throughout Europe for some time in formulas from Nutricia, Sandoz and Wyeth-Ayerst.
