Jeeze, Mike-- the possibility of a buyout is darned slim.
Pull up a log, and let Ol' Uncle WebDrone tell you a story.
Time was, when Mr. Noam and Mr. Shlomo said "Heck no, we just won't ever sell this company to nobody!"
And the faithful said "hallaleuja!"
Then hard times came, and the stock of MRVC took such a licking! Why, that stock dropped right from $22 to darned near $6.
And the faithful said "Ow!", "Yikes!" and "Mommy!"
There was a lot of moping about, and folks feeling sorry for themselves on this here board. Cousin Sector and a few of his kin bought more.
We knew ain't nobody going to steal MRVC off us, as Mr. Noam had layed in a lil' $100Million nest egg, thanks to Miss PRU, and Mr. Shlomo, Mr. Noam and Mr. Zeev owning so much shares themsselves.
Now, if you young 'uns would have paid attention to the last Conference Call, Mr. Noam has changed his tune a mite.
Mr. Noam said he was willing to sell the company, but at nothing like $10 or $20 or $30. Mr. Noam's vague statement was interpreted around these parts to be talking 'bout $50 to $80.
And the faithful said "hallaleuja!"
Because it's one thing to say the company is not for sale, and it is another thing to be asking more than anyone wants to pay right today.
Hope this helps.
Welcome to the briar patch!
