Paul - Re: According to AMD publications the K7 uses a 2.5 volt Vcc which is reduced on-chip to 1.6 volts FOR THE PLL CLOCK ONLY. We obviously do not read the article the same way. I admit it can be understood both ways - and have said so. However, judging from the low voltages used on Alpha CPUs I believe it is more likely to be the other way around (compared to what you say). --fyodor
