Are you suggesting that this is not the patent for the PKDV device? Is it even a possibility that it is? What's your take (in layman's terms)? My conclusion from your response was that it could not possibly be the device in question but I just want to make sure since you seem to have a handle on these matters and I certainly don't.

I do not know if it is - or is not - the patent in question.

1. If it is not - then the question of the the actual procurement of a legitimate patent is still open. Given the fact that the new claimed owner cannot be found in the United States Patent and Trademark Office database is unsettling. One would think that Chyane Yan Enterprises Co., Ltd. would have perfected their legal rights to the patent prior to letting a multi-million US dollar contract to a third party for the device. In fact, it is standard prudent business for the third party (in this case Pan-Kai)to demand proof that valid title exists to the patent. Note that the USPTO database is current.

2. If this is the patent in question, then its a BS PR roughly equivalent to the infamous MTEI PR of May 1998. #reply-4814082
