Don't be ashamed. Years ago I bought a telecommunications stock at $3 and it went to $12. I never sold any and bought it on the way down and sold at .60 before it went bankrupt. I lost $10,000. So I've been there and done that. I piled money into PKGP/USXP and went through two reverse splits and lost big.

I always sell some between that double and triple regardless of how much I like the stock. With pennies I rarely sell at a loss unless a reverse split is announced. Since I buy nearer the 52 week lows I'll just hold them. The worst thing is taking a loss and chasing other pennies that turn out to be losers. It's an easy way to go broke.

I now totally diversify and own 20 pennies. No more eggs in one or two baskets waiting to get rich. :) So I've also paid my "penny dues". MOst people lose in the penny stock market till you learn the right way to invest in these stocks.
