Cringe - Re: "Earlier, you speculated that AMD would re-compile that code so that the K7 looks really good. " You're losing it. I said just the OPPOSITE, although I did joke about it! My claim was that no one would recompile for the K7 - I haven't even heard of anybody writing optimizations for the K7 and existing compilers. Paul
