A few last comments before bed. The large die size of K7 is due mostly to very large hand placed cells. Dirk commented that very little synthesis was used, and that all cells were placed by hand. How on earth did they do this in 17 months? The design team was 120, and 80% were in Austin. They were very highly motivated. Scumbria
