That's a very strange problem indeed, and I'm terribly sorry that I can't be of much help. It "sounds" like Opera isn't correctly handling the HTML text input fields. Without seeing it, diagnosis is difficult. I haven't checked out their site or new browser versions in a while, so I'm behind the curve on this one.

Until you get a satisfactory answer from them, I'd continue to surf with Opera if that's what you like, and simply use another browser to make purchases. If surfing accounts for most of your online time, rather than purchasing, then it's a suitable (although admittedly lame) workaround.
