Good Morning all!

Found this posted on another thread, I would think that this stock would pick up over the next few weeks due to the amount of the dividend. It was announced 2 days ago but it doesn't seem like it has effected the stock price at all.

But hey, I'm just a clueless rookie.

Any thoughts ?

Counsel Corporation Declares Special Dividend

Canadian Corporate News - June 08, 1999 21:00

TORONTO, ONTARIO--The Board of Directors of Counsel Corporation
TSE:CXS / NASDAQ:CXSN) today declared a special dividend of C$1.50
per share. The dividend is payable on July 20, 1999 to shareholders
of record on July 12.

Allan Silber, Counsel Corporation's Chairman and CEO said, "This
dividend is a continuation of our strategy to share Counsel's
realization of value with our shareholders. It is directly related
to Counsel's successful sale of Stadtlander Drug Company earlier
this year. It is Counsel's stated policy to continue to recognize
and reward the confidence our shareholders have in our vision as
we realize value from our investments in the future."

The conversion price of Counsel Corporation's convertible debentures
due October 31, 2003 (TSE:CXS.DB.U) will be adjusted to reflect the
dividend payment, as required by the terms of the debentures.
