Marvin I am not buying options I sell them. I sell calls or puts (sell to open ) and take advantage of the implied volatility and later cash in (buy to close).

This strategy is quite profitable if implied volatility is over 40%. I the stock goes nowere you still make money as the option goes down in price around 1/8 per day or around $125 on 10 contracts for each day that passes including weekends.

So I sold calls on SUNW the SUQFL and SUQFM and bought them later at lower prices.

Today I may sell puts on SUNW and make money on that.
