Why would you hold a stock that you think is crap?

If you think it's crap, surely you should sell it and put it into a stock that isn't crap and therefore make up your losses. If you're an efficient capitalist, you will (within the limits of efficient asset allocation) place your money where you believe it will achieve the best/greatest return. If, in your opinion CMGI is "crap" (and, hence, not going to provide you with an appropriate return), your an IDIOT if you don't sell and put it in a place where you believe it will perform better. Simple as that.

I hope you weren't absent the day they discussed the risk/return curve in finance class....
