I'm not arguing the point that WFR much have the capacity before it's needed.

But it doesn't need 100K WPM capability when the total global demand is 100 WPM. And even if it got all the business from the announced fabs, it wouldn't need any where near that capacity before the end of 2002.

... unless of course we get a whole raft of announcements for fabs to be completed before the end of 2001. :-)
