Hank,

I am out on a vocation so I did not answer your previous messege. I will get to you later!

Anyway, good analysis on the nut mania. In such market environment, I will mainly short and put on any sucker's rally until the rate fear is eased.

Amateur investors buy high and sell low (on margin calls);
Those with meager experience buy low (think it cannot go lower) and sell lower;
Experienced traders only do short term traders in days like this and the best they can bet is to break even against some bad trades. Never turn bad trades into investment;
The best traders sit on the sideline waiting for the next leg up. You lose several points here and there but you hold your cash intact so you can fully participate in the next run!

Nuts are not done yet. Still too many greedy people out there. The sector will have a tremendous washout (ease all the gains since this year, AOL listening? Down to 80s here we go in October!) later this year before the survivors can muster their cash for another rally.

However, the best days for the nuts are history. Not as a sector, but as stock price appreciation perse.

larry!
