Dreyfus charges a flat fee of $15, or $2.25 per contract, which ever is greater. The $15 is not an add-on fee. It is just the minimum. Their executions are exceptional for both stocks and options. On-screen confirmation delay time is minimal, and phone service is very quick. I really like them. They do not update your account on the screen as you trade, but a quick call to the margin department will get you an on-the-spot update of your buying power. Their site is not cluttered with fancy graphics, so it comes up very quickly. Check out the demo page at www.edreyfus.com. The demo is on the same server that you will be trading on, and you can see how quickly it moves. Their brokers even have a sense of humor (East Coast variety, I think).
