The real question is if investors were actually comprehending who was behind the company, their track record, their history, the actual facts - how did they make their decision to invest in this? When I was alerted to this stock issue last week and I asked the board continuously for information and all I got from everyone was slams and crass blasts - except from YOU - which I took upon myself to do the reading and make my own decisions. I left the board alone and continued to read your posts and follow the leads.

That people stayed when they saw the downturn trend - they were hoping for good news - there are lots of naive people out here/there. There are a million companies out there like this - conmen like McNaughton and TRNG management - start companies yearly and get people - individual investors - to invest and their record is full of years of "non production of material events" but yet the investors cling to their dreams". Whether you are in pennies or dollars - people are taken for millions by conmen and carpetbaggers.

A scam can only be perpetrated if one is willing to be victim. These individual investors made a bad choice and stuck to it even when the evidence to the contrary was thrown right at them. I had been in one company that when I saw that management was crappy after doing some digging and not getting answers - I took the remainder of my money that was on the table and got out. Many people are not willing to do that and as a result lose it all.

That shortsellers got the drift of all the information is great - but what is bad about some of them is they rub it in to some people who really deserve some empathy or just to be left alone. Everyone is in the market to make income and you try to determine the method that is suited for each individual self. You place the bets according to your agility and in the game you are best suited.

Some people, the majority, get to the table and have absolutely no idea what they are doing and follow anyone and anything just because they are stunned with the vision of "gold". Just like Vegas. However, I have yet to hear of the house owners in Vegas come out to the losers and slap them around and loudly pontificate their prowess and glee that they "took" the poor sap for everything he/she had.

As for what causes men/women to cheat other men/women - AVARICE & GREED, FEAR & INSECURITY

what causes men/women to get sadistic pleasure in the pain of others? - AVARICE & GREED, FEAR & INSECURITY

Dunavant is a drop in the bucket - check out the boards - go to Anthony's for a "short" list of the tip of the bucket of companies headed by conmen. There wouldn't be a market without them.

I just don't care for the joy rubbed into those who have lost so much - whether they held fast out of hope, fear, greed, longing, or stupidity - it would be like getting an inheritance from an uncle you didn't like and going to the wake and shouting to the family in grief how rich you are and are glad he's dead.

Mercy, Jacalyn
