Bob, who knows? Obviously we don't agree on what is happening. For some time now we have had clear I-Watch confirmation of institutional buy interest and actual buys. But given the lack of interest in XOMA and probably lack of knowledge by many XOMA holders that know only that they have a loss, the institutional purchases were met by a supply of retail sellers, as this supply was exhausted the price move up slightly to the new supply area. Institutions are aware that we retail guys are watching and talking. And of course more importantly that other large buyers are also aware of what is going on. So time does not sit still and if one has a position to fill they probably have decided to fill it a half point higher rather than missing the boat.

The lack of interest or at least comment on XOMA by others on S.I. who understand biotechnology far better than I ever will is amusing. Here is XOMA with one P III finished and very interesting preliminary data. Plus the terrible problem of NOT ENOUGH MORTALITY, and another P III almost half way done. Genentech has expressed confidence in XOMA. So have 16 other drug companies large and small for cell expression technology. Research on BPI and LBP abounds but none of this produces nary a comment from all sorts of people that normally would say something. Now even the price action brings no comments.

Interesting enough is that the T.A. people have zeroed in on XOMA. While I have no idea what they are talking about at least they are not to proud to pay attention when something is happening.

Bluegreen is gone. I had asked him not to promote XOMA on the other Biotech threads as I think it is much more interesting to see how long it takes for these other people to wake up by themselves. Yes, I miss the input they could bring but for now they seem mesmerized into believing that a favorable comment about XOMA would somehow tarnish their reputations.
