The Problem with "Tao".... is that many people may not know what it means. They will not have read books with titles like The Tao of Physics, The Tao of This, The Tao of That, and etc. And they won't find a definition of "Tao" in the dictionary. The nearest thing to it they will find will be something like this: Taoism. A principal philosophy and religion of China based upon the teachings of Lao-tse in the sixth century B.C. Whaa? Chinese religion? For an English thread? Don't get me wrong. I like The Tao of Style very much. It is simple & elegant, and I wish I had thought of it myself. But...it is at least as elitist and intimidating a title as SI Grammar & Spelling Lab, and a lot less comprehensible to an outsider, I think. Joan
