Regardless of whether earnings matter to CMGI or not, I
expected CMGI to keep investors informed. If they were not
going to make the numbers they should have come out and
said so. After all if DW and company think that earnings do
not matter, they should be forthright. Else they should not
give out estimates. If they do give out estimates they should
make sure that the estimates are correct and if they are going
to miss by a wide margin say so.

This episode has made me loose faith in the company and I sold
as a result. Many many companies out there who do a much better
job of keeping their investors informed. My money is better
invested there.
