Here's a very interesting attempt to value IP. I'll see if I can get hold of the underlying papers to clarify precisely what they are doing. I don't think the approach works for development stage biotechs, though, as it is basically measuring the "excess" profits generated by the IP and using this to value the IP itself. cfonet.com Peter
