Ramtron has filed a preliminary proxy statement which includes the reverse split proposal. It seems there will be a vote sometime this month. The reverse split should happen before July 31, assuming the shareholders approve it, otherwise they will be delisted from NASDAQ. DRAM pricing seems to be stabilizing. Chip stocks have been a bright spot in this otherwise weak market. Demand for chips is expected to be robust this year and even better next year. If Ramtron can get past it's restructuring the outlook should be better later in the year.
