Friday report. Been avoiding looking at my screen the last 24 hours but finally doing so. Good news, the CHRZ I bought two days ago actually went up. I'm up $500. I sold ATHM at 103 to buy CHRZ. Nice move. Also BEBE spiked to 28 today. BNBN is up a little. Otherwise I'm a sad holder of PFE and ELNK and can hardly believe the punishment there. AOL dipped to 100 exactly today but held (so far). That was my psychological bottom. Sure we're bound to see a big rally but everyone is in the doldrums. Ironically this is probably the perfect time to buy. But since I'm already on margin I'm not going to chance it. Will benefit enough with a market rise.

Another silver lining to situations like this is, if you want you can take the opportunity to trade in stocks you're not hot about (take a tax loss early) and switch into ones you'd rather hold for the rest of the year. Question is, do you buy into those which are down a lot (bargains) or ones which have held strong? Judgement call. Or do you do what I'm doing? ABsolutely nothing.
