I know someone who cites the title as the reason he won't come to feelies. But I had a different reaction to it when I was invited there by Christine-- I assumed it was supposed to be a comic title, and I thought it succeeded. The exclamation points signaled to me that it was parodic. So I've always liked the name, for conveying the serious point of the thread, but doing it with a light touch-- with a little goodnatured self mockery. I wonder if I'm the only one who read it that way. I would think that was very funny, reading parody in where none was intended. It would be me being a veritable parody of myself. I think I'll send a link to this post for Christine's comment.

(But even if it is a dead-serious title, I like it. That would make it kind of brave and uncynical, to me. As a cynic, I like uncynical things.)
