> Quite the pessimist, huh?
I wouldn't say so. As to CELL, I'm not smart enough to be pessimistic or otherwise.
I find TA an easy target for humor, but as to CELL in particular, I mostly feel like an idiot because I got involved with a business I don't understand. I bought in last summer at 13 or so, just because "experts" said the numbers looked good by "traditional stock analysis".
Then -- o! double fool! -- didn't get out either of the times the stock was nicely up. When it fell to 5 and bounced back up to (what was it?) 18 and I still didn't sell -- well, I deserve what I get. Or don't get.
But it's not that I have a reason to think 18 is a reasonable target, or that the prospects of CELL are good or bad -- I never understood its prospects, and still don't.
Will more cellphones be sold in Brazil and will CELL benefit from that? Will everyone in this galaxy own a CELL related cellphone within the next 5 years? I haven't a clue: does anyone?
> So what are the reasons you're long, or on the board?
Still owning those shares I bought at 13, and a fascination with a minor car crash... If (okay, when) the stock gets back to 18, I think I will exit. I expect to wait awhile.
