Actually, the ORCL/AAPL announcement coming up could potentially tell us a lot about Apple. After all, LE's on the board, and we all know he and Jobs are good buds. I would think the nature of the announcement may reveal some interesting information. Larry -- for all his posturing and database backbiting -- is a big wig in the industry, and his endorsement of the Mac could go a long way toward strengthening the platform. And as a slight aside, I've been looking at this Alias/Wavefront Maya Web site, and it's some pretty incredible stuff. My brother is an architect, raised on AutoCAD/Wintel, and he was drooling over the software. If the rumors of Mac ports of AutoCAD and Maya are true, watch Apple retake the high-end graphics segment by storm. Mark
