fwiw there has also been a lot of pressure on the dollar/yen spot and rumours of large stops 'just' beneath the market. Sell dollar/yen, sell US bonds? Certainly sounds like the southbound end of a bad 'yen carry trade' <g> I've heard several names mentioned and have no idea if it is actually happening or just a bunch of frustrated traders trying to explain why they had a lousy week.
