Merck is not offering much of a premium for the acquisition.

I wonder if this might affect the supposed deal with Chemdex to put their 10,000 page catalog on the web for electronic transactions. I was viewing this as an opportunity for VWRX to become the only player in a HUGE market.

What did you do at VWRX? Do you think this is a step forward or a step back?
